With our innovative and easy-to-use testing kit, analyzing your cannabis can be done in three simple steps:

  • Step 1: Sample Preparation

The first and most crucial step involved in cannabis testing is collecting and preparing

representative samples from each batch. The batch can be defined as a set of plants grown

under the same conditions and at the same time. As per the Cannabis Act, sample preparation

should be performed according to the European Pharmacopoeia section 2.8.20 “Herbal Drugs:

Sampling and Sample Preparation.” Please refer to this document for specific guidance on the

minimum mass and the number of samples to be collected from each batch.

  • Step 2: Test the Samples

Test the samples from individual batches by placing the sample in the reader. Let the device

perform the analysis while you prepare another sample. You can finish the testing procedure in

    as little as five minutes.

  • Step 3: Analyze the Test Results

Obtain accurate results in terms of the concentration of THC, THCA, CBD, and CBDA

compounds found in the samples. The proportions of the THC, THCA, CBD, and CBDA content

can help you determine the quality, safety, and potency of your cannabis crops.

Simple & Easy Process

Why Should You Test Your Cannabis’ Potency?

As per the Cannabis Act, each batch of cannabis and/or cannabis products must be evaluated for potency, and the cultivator/manufacturer must describe the amount of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD) compound on the product label while also quantifying the Cannabinoid acid content, specifically Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid (THCA) and Cannabidiolic Acid (CBDA).

Cannabis testing is crucial to cultivators, processors, and consumers. Accurate Cannabis test reports can greatly help your business improve the product offering and result in gaining consistent customers. To be consistent with your products’ quality, you may need to conduct comprehensive lab tests with a lab partner, which is often expensive and time-consuming.
